Tyche and Maana headlined the morning training activity on Sunday, August 30, as horses were put through their paces on the track. Both runners produced notable displays during their respective gallops, drawing attention with their movement on the outer sand surface.

The training session provided an opportunity for trainers to assess the condition of their charges, with several other horses also showing positive signs during their work on both the inner and outer sand tracks. The focus remained on steady conditioning and maintaining form as the horses completed their scheduled exercises.

Strong performances on the outer sand

On the outer sand track, Tyche, under the guidance of Srinath, clocked 1:08 for the 1000m distance, covering the final 600m in 40.5 seconds to deliver a pleasing performance. Maana, partnered by Laxman S, also caught the eye over the same 1000m distance, finishing in 1:14 with a final 600m split of 40.5 seconds.

Earlier in the session, other runners also showed promise. Dasadyu, ridden by Reza, worked well over 600m in 43.5 seconds, while Fine Silver, with R. Pradeep in the saddle, pleased onlookers with a 600m effort timed at 42 seconds.

Activity on the inner sand

The inner sand track saw a flurry of activity as well. Over the 600m sprint, Hidden Dreams, piloted by Rajesh K, moved well to clock 40.5 seconds, matching the time set by Queen Maxima, who was ridden by Laxman S. Badshaah and Darrington also impressed, striding out well to record a time of 39.5 seconds for their 600m gallop.

Rounding out the inner sand work, Yukan, with Shreyas aboard, completed a 1000m gallop in 1:08, finishing the final 600m in 39.5 seconds. The consistent work across the morning session suggests the horses are responding well to their current training programs.
