Preview and Desert Shield headlined a productive morning of track work on Wednesday, September 2, as horses were put through their paces in preparation for future racing commitments. Both runners displayed impressive form during their respective gallops, catching the eye of observers during the session.

The training activity, conducted across both the inner and outer sand tracks, featured a variety of horses working at different intensities. While many runners focused on maintaining their condition with steady work, the efforts of Preview and Desert Shield stood out as the most notable highlights of the morning.

Strong performances on the sand tracks

On the outer sand track, Desert Shield, partnered with Inicio, delivered a sharp performance over 1400m. Clocking 1:41, the pair covered the 1200m mark in 1:24.5 and the 1000m in 1:10, with the final 600m section completed in 42 seconds. Desert Shield was particularly impressive, showing clear superiority during the gallop. Earlier, Preview also caught the eye on the outer sand, moving with fluency over 1000m to clock 1:12, with a final 600m split of 41 seconds.

The outer sand also saw several other notable efforts. Mega Success and Amazing Attraction worked over 1000m in 1:17, with Mega Success finishing two lengths clear after a 600m sectional of 43.5. Similarly, Amazing Storm finished three lengths ahead of Femme Fatale over the same distance, recording a time of 1:17 with a 44-second final 600m. Royal Jewel also looked comfortable, covering 1000m in 1:16 with a 44-second finish. Other runners, including Live The Dreams, Zeitgeist, and Icing, completed their work with steady, controlled efforts.

Inner sand activity

The inner sand track saw a series of shorter, sharp gallops. Queendom and Circle Of Dreams both impressed over 1000m, clocking 1:7.5 with identical 600m splits of 39.5 seconds. Both horses appeared to be in fine condition as they strode out well.

Earlier in the morning, a trio of runners—Xaily, Hidden Dreams, and Makoto—all worked over 600m. Xaily clocked 40 seconds, while Hidden Dreams and Makoto recorded times of 40.5 and 40 seconds respectively, with all three showing positive signs in their movement.
