On the morning of August 6, a series of impressive workouts took place at the local racetrack, showcasing several notable horses in preparation for upcoming races. Among the standout performers were Menorca and Miami Vice, both of whom demonstrated their readiness with strong exercise sessions on the inner sand track.

Morning Workouts Highlight Top Contenders

The session began with a series of 800-meter drills, where Synergy, ridden by Peter, and Thunder, under S.J. Sunil, clocked a time of 55 seconds, moving effortlessly alongside each other. Ultimo, with Kaviraj in the saddle, also showed promising form, moving nicely during his workout. Other notable performances included Ange Raphael, ridden by Santosh, and Avener, with Ramswarup, who completed 600 meters in 42 seconds, appearing relaxed throughout their exercise. Ageisjustanumber, under Neeraj, recorded a time of 40 seconds for 600 meters, while Pride’s Prince, ridden by Hamir, and Dancing Cloud, with Nazil, both finished their 600-meter workouts in 40 seconds, showcasing their fitness and agility.

As the workouts progressed, Miami Vice, ridden by Parmar, and Maratha Admiral, under P. Dhebe, took to the track for a 1000-meter run. Miami Vice finished impressively, completing the distance in 1 minute and 7 seconds, six lengths ahead of his competitor. This performance solidified his status as a horse to watch in the upcoming races.

Strong Showings from Rising Stars

In another notable workout, Bee Magical, ridden by Neeraj, and Minari, under Shelar, ran neck and neck, finishing their 1000 meters in 1 minute and 22 seconds. Menorca, with Gore in the saddle, matched their pace, also completing the distance in 1 minute and 22 seconds, demonstrating a strong response to the training regimen. Caradoc, ridden by Neeraj, worked freely, finishing his 1000 meters in 1 minute and 24 seconds.

The morning concluded with Arrived, under Ajinkya, who completed 600 meters in 42 seconds, moving fluently. Magical Star, ridden by Kaviraj, also impressed with a time of 1 minute and 54 seconds for 1400 meters, showing determination as he was urged on during his workout.
