Arsenal returned to winning ways on Saturday, overcoming a second-half deficit to secure a 2-1 victory against Leeds at the Emirates Stadium. The result provided a vital response for Mikel Arteta’s side following their disappointing 3-0 loss to Brighton prior to the international break.

The match remained scoreless until the 55th minute, when Leeds took the lead through James Justin after Arsenal failed to clear a cross from Gabriel Gudmundsson. However, the hosts responded quickly, with Riccardo Calafiori equalising in the 62nd minute by converting a Ben White header. Substitute Bruno Guimaraes then sealed the comeback, drilling a strike from the edge of the area just six minutes after his introduction to secure the win.

Chelsea and Brighton Secure Impressive Results

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea ended a four-match winless streak in the league with a commanding 5-1 victory over Bournemouth. The hosts started aggressively, with Jordan Henderson opening the scoring after just 68 seconds. An own goal from Antonio Silva in the third minute doubled the lead, before Joao Pedro extended the advantage shortly after the interval. Although Evanilson pulled one back for Bournemouth, further goals from Joao Pedro and a second from Henderson completed the rout.

Elsewhere, Brighton maintained their strong form by defeating Sunderland 2-0, despite playing the final stages with ten men. Maxim De Cuyper opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, and although Pascal Struijk was sent off shortly after, Jaouen Hadjam added a late goal to secure the points. Meanwhile, Aston Villa’s difficult campaign continued with a 2-2 draw against Brentford, and Ipswich Town snatched a dramatic 2-1 victory over Fulham with late goals from Abdoul Ouattara and Dara O'Shea.
