Carino and New Star deliver impressive performances.

On the morning of August 14, the training grounds witnessed an impressive display of equine talent as several horses were exercised, showcasing their readiness for upcoming competitions. Among the standout performers were Carino and New Star, both of whom demonstrated remarkable speed and agility during their workouts.

During the 600-meter exercises on the inner sand track, Mila, ridden by Omkar, and Rules, under an apprentice jockey, completed the distance in a competitive time of 41 seconds, finishing level. G Valentino, with Kamble in the saddle, clocked a time of 42 seconds, while Precioso, also ridden by an apprentice, finished in 40 seconds, indicating a smooth performance. In the 800-meter segment, Mandarain Milli, ridden by a regular jockey, completed the distance in 53 seconds, with a notable 600-meter split of 40 seconds, moving freely throughout the exercise.

New Star, partnered with Peter, and Golden Gun, ridden by S.J. Sunil, completed a 1000-meter workout in a time of 1:08, with an 800-meter split of 52 seconds and a 600-meter split of 39 seconds. New Star made a significant impression by closing the gap and finishing level with Golden Gun. Phantasmique, under a regular jockey, also performed well, completing the 1000 meters in 1:10, with splits of 55 seconds for 800 meters and 41 seconds for 600 meters.

In the 1400-meter workout, Rise All Stars, ridden by Siddharth, clocked a time of 1:40, with splits of 57 seconds for 800 meters and 43 seconds for 600 meters, indicating a strong and free movement. Gate practice was also noted on the inner sand track, contributing to the horses' preparation. Sobers, ridden by Bhawani, and Midas Touch, under Bharat, completed their 1000-meter workout in 1:09, with an 800-meter split of 53 seconds and a 600-meter split of 40 seconds, showcasing Sobers' superiority by a length.

Carino, with N. Bhosale in the saddle, impressed with a time of 1:06, completing the 800 meters in 52 seconds and the 600 meters in 39 seconds. Opus Dei, ridden by Shelar, also moved well, finishing in 1:09 with splits of 54 seconds and 40 seconds. Shimmer, partnered with Santosh, and Mount Washington, ridden by Ramswarup, completed their workout in 1:12, with Shimmer finishing well ahead. Katame, under a regular jockey, and Flash Mob, ridden by Umesh, finished their 800 meters in 52 seconds and 600 meters in 39 seconds, with Katame finishing six lengths clear. Zoe, partnered with Kirtish, and Myrina, ridden by Ajinkya, completed their workout in 1:14, finishing level.
