On the morning of August 12, a series of impressive workouts took place at the local training facility, showcasing several horses that are generating buzz ahead of upcoming races. Among the standout performers were Baillee, Rivayat, and Starlight Serenade, each demonstrating notable athleticism during their training sessions.

Notable Performances in Short Distances

During the 600-meter exercises on the inner sand track, Storm Majesty, ridden by A. Gaikwad, clocked an impressive time of 37 seconds, showcasing a strong performance. Ironheart, under an apprentice jockey, followed closely with a time of 39 seconds, moving freely throughout the session. Caradoc, ridden by Gore, and Lightning Spear, with Nazil in the saddle, both completed their workouts in 41 and 40 seconds, respectively, with a more relaxed approach.

Baillee, also under Gore, turned heads with a remarkable time of 36 seconds, indicating a powerful stride. In the 800-meter workouts, Exotic Star, ridden by Mosin, finished in 54 seconds, while We Still Believe, with Bhawani, clocked 53 seconds, both moving fluidly. Other notable mentions included Agatha and Viennoisse, who completed their sessions in 53 seconds, and Dashing Cheri, who finished in 52 seconds, all demonstrating a strong level of fitness.

Longer Distances and Competitive Edge

As the workouts progressed to the 1000-meter mark, The Olive Crown, ridden by Ajinkya, displayed superiority with a time of 1:09, finishing the last 600 meters in 39 seconds. David, with Ramswarup, also showed promise, completing the distance in 1:09, four lengths ahead of Gonzalo, who finished in 40 seconds. Starlight Serenade, under Ajinkya, responded well to the training, finishing the 800 meters in 51 seconds and the last 600 in 39 seconds.

Other horses, such as Rise All Stars and Thalassa, maintained their form with solid performances, while Madison, ridden by Neeraj, moved freely, completing the 800 meters in 55 seconds. The morning's training sessions not only highlighted the fitness levels of these horses but also set the stage for an exciting racing season ahead.
