A group of high-performing horses caught the eye during Saturday morning's training sessions in Bengaluru, with several contenders demonstrating strong form ahead of upcoming fixtures. Trainers and observers noted the sharp condition of the runners as they navigated the outer sand track on September 5.

Strong performances across the distance markers
The 1200m gallops provided further evidence of quality preparation, with Rosaline, under the guidance of Aleemuddin, impressing onlookers by covering the distance in 1-24. The horse showed good pace, reaching the 1000m mark in 1-9 and finishing the final 600m in 41.5 seconds. Similarly, Bezawada Sultan, partnered with Salman, moved with fluency to record a time of 1-23 for the 1200m, hitting the 1000m marker in 1-10 before closing with a 42.5-second split.
In the shorter sprints, Mystikos, ridden by Srinath, drew attention during a 600m exercise, clocking 40 seconds in a move that was described as catching the eye. Tricon Falcon also pleased observers with a 42-second effort over the same distance, while D Fronx and Irish Coffee both moved well, recording times of 43 seconds.
The 1400m work saw Larissa, with B. Paswan in the saddle, look to be in fine trim, completing the distance in 1-38.5. The horse reached the 1000m point in 1-10 and finished the final 600m in 43.5 seconds. The Leader and Acantha also showed consistency, both recording 1-40 for the 1400m distance, with both horses displaying good movement throughout their respective gallops.
Other notable efforts included Never Give In and Sigrid, who both strode out well over 1000m, clocking 1-10 and 1-9.5 respectively. Haniel and Knightsbridge also completed their 1200m work with attractive and steady performances, ensuring a productive morning of training for the stables involved.
