Josh Hazlewood made a remarkable comeback to Test cricket after a lengthy absence of over a year, showcasing his skills with an impressive six-wicket haul during Australia’s first innings against Bangladesh in Darwin. Over the course of 28 overs, Hazlewood allowed 89 runs, securing two wickets on Day 2 and adding four more to his tally on the following day. This performance elevated his career Test wicket count to 301, marking him as the ninth Australian bowler to achieve this milestone.

In addition to reaching the 300-wicket milestone, Hazlewood etched his name in the record books by becoming the first Australian fast bowler to claim a five-wicket haul against Bangladesh in international cricket.
