In the 1600m gallop, Vortex, partnered with Zeeshan, showed impressive acceleration. Starting two lengths behind Dash, ridden by Aditya, Vortex moved with ease to finish one length ahead, clocking 1:47 for the full distance and 1:05 for the 1000m split. Meanwhile, Zayyan, under the guidance of Vivek G, delivered an excellent 1200m effort, stopping the clock at 1:20 and covering the final 600m in a sharp 37 seconds.
Strong Gallops Across the Inner Sand
Several other contenders caught the eye during the session. In the 1200m work, Immortal Star, with S.J. Sunil in the saddle, moved well to finish four lengths clear of Gunsmoke, recording a time of 1:20. Wise Approach and Bright Button also paired up over the same distance, with Wise Approach finishing five lengths ahead after a 1:22 gallop.
Over 1400m, Namiri and Shaandaar worked together, with Namiri proving four lengths superior at the finish in a time of 1:53. Alexios responded well to urgings to clock 1:37, while Manuel was pressed in the final stages to finish in 1:38. In the 1000m category, Starbuster was urged in the closing stages to complete the distance in 1:08, while the pair of Casspian and Sixty Four Squares finished level after starting with a three-length gap.
The 800m sprints saw Undercover and Gunfire both move well, each clocking 51 seconds for the distance. Golden Gun finished four lengths ahead of Star Dream in their 51-second effort, and Scorcher finished a distance clear of Riff after a 52-second gallop. The session concluded with various horses, including Regina Memorabilis and Angelisa, completing lighter work on the inner sand as they maintained their conditioning.
