On the morning of August 14, several horses showcased their training prowess during a series of exercises at the local track, with notable performances from Stud Poker, Baashha, Lysia, Caccini, and Miracle Star. The workouts were conducted on both inner and outer sand tracks, providing a comprehensive assessment of each horse's condition.

Impressive Performances on Inner Sand

During the session on the inner sand track, Iron Mirage clocked a time of 1:08 for 1,000 meters, finishing with a strong 600-meter split of 39 seconds, indicating a solid performance. Other horses also demonstrated their readiness, with Mystikos, ridden by Srinath, completing 600 meters in 42.5 seconds, while Il Volo, under Rajesh K, finished in 44.5 seconds, both showing good form.

Baashha, another standout, completed 1,000 meters in 1:11, with a 600-meter split of 42.5 seconds, leaving trainers pleased with his progress. Acantha, also ridden by Srinath, finished the same distance in 1:14, with a 600-meter time of 45 seconds, indicating she is in fine trim. Miracle Star impressed observers with a time of 1:13 for 600 meters, clocking 41.5 seconds, while Tipped Off and War Queen both finished their 600-meter workouts in 44 seconds, showcasing their stamina and speed.

Strong Showings on Outer Sand

On the outer sand track, Stud Poker, ridden by Antony, delivered an outstanding performance, completing 1,200 meters in 1:27.5, with a 1,000-meter split of 1:11 and a 600-meter time of 41.5 seconds. Caccini, under Reza, also made a mark with a time of 1:25.5 for 1,000 meters, finishing with a 600-meter split of 42 seconds, demonstrating impressive movement throughout the workout.

Lysia, ridden by Shreyas, completed the 1,000 meters in 1:26, with a 600-meter time of 43.5 seconds, indicating a strong work ethic. The morning's exercises not only highlighted the fitness levels of these horses but also set the stage for their upcoming races, as trainers and jockeys expressed satisfaction with their performances.
