Action Across the Pune Racecard
The day's racing featured a full schedule of events, including the Rodeo Plate, which saw a significant post-race adjustment. While Dreams Come True initially crossed the finish line first in a time of 1 minute and 3.77 seconds, the Stewards upheld an objection lodged by jockey P. Trevor and trainer Aman Altaf Hussain. The protest cited interference and bumping involving Yinsiruk shortly after the start. Following a review of the race replay and testimony from the jockeys, the result was revised, awarding the victory to Yinsiruk.
Elsewhere on the card, Touch of Mystic claimed the Severus Plate over 1,600 meters, while Silver Strike took top honors in the 1,000-meter Truefitt & Hill Trophy. In the Conrad Pune Trophy, also contested over 1,600 meters, Cofee at Eleven emerged victorious. The 1,000-meter Raees Plate was won by Absolute Emperor, and Gunfire secured the win in the Lemon Tree Hotels Trophy, also run over the 1,000-meter distance.
