Among the notable efforts, Golden Dancer, partnered with Carino, produced a dominant display over 1200m. Clocking 1:20, the horse strode out impressively to finish a distance ahead of its companion, with sectional times of 1:06 for the 1000m, 52 seconds for the 800m, and 39 seconds for the final 600m.
Strong performances across the distances
Chagall also produced a pleasing workout over the 1200m distance, stopping the clock at 1:21. The effort included a sharp 600m finish in 38 seconds, confirming its readiness. Elsewhere, Mystica looked in fine fettle during a 1000m gallop, recording a time of 1:05. The horse moved nicely throughout the exercise, covering the final 800m in 51 seconds and the last 600m in 39 seconds.
Several other horses caught the eye during the morning session. In the 1000m category, Cellini clocked 1:06, finishing the final 600m in 39 seconds, while Aries and Yuletide also put in solid work, both recording 1:07 and 1:06 respectively, with identical 39-second final sections. The Panther and Ashwa Parth also showed promise, both completing their 1000m work in 1:09 and 1:10 respectively.
The 800m gallops saw Agatha and Marius both clocking 52 and 53 seconds respectively, with both horses moving well. Bhairava also moved freely over the same distance, finishing in 53 seconds. On the shorter 600m track, Crimson Pirate moved well to clock 38 seconds, while Iron Heart finished six lengths ahead of AR Legend in a pair that clocked 38 seconds.
Other notable work included Age Of Reason and Snow Girl moving level over 1200m in 1:23, while Pyrite and Esconido finished level over 1000m in 1:11. The morning concluded with various horses, including La Dolce Vita, Neutralist, and Shubhankar, completing their light work with ease.
