Muthoot Finance Secures BCCI Title Sponsorship Rights Through 2028

Muthoot Finance Limited has officially secured the title sponsorship rights for Indian cricket, marking a significant commercial development for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The Kochi-based financial services group will hold these prestigious rights for all international and domestic matches hosted within India for the next several years.

The agreement, which extends through March 31, 2028, places Muthoot Finance at the forefront of the BCCI's commercial portfolio. This partnership is set to cover a substantial volume of cricket, with projections indicating the deal will encompass approximately 35 home international fixtures. The scheduled lineup for this period includes 10 Test matches, 12 One Day Internationals, and 13 T20 Internationals.

Strategic Partnership for a Busy Home Calendar

The sponsorship arrangement is slated to commence with the upcoming three-match ODI series against the West Indies. This deal arrives at a pivotal time for the Indian national team, as they prepare for an extensive home season featuring high-profile tours from international sides, including Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

By securing these rights, Muthoot Finance joins an existing group of commercial partners currently supporting the Indian cricket ecosystem. The BCCI’s current sponsorship bouquet already features prominent brands such as Campa, SBI Life, and ChatGPT, reflecting a diverse range of sectors investing in the sport. This new cycle of sponsorship is designed to provide consistent backing for India’s bilateral cricket commitments as the board navigates a packed international and domestic schedule over the coming years.
