The session provided a vital opportunity for conditioning, with horses working across various distances on both the inner and outer sand tracks. While many runners moved comfortably, the performances of a few specific contenders stood out to observers as they prepared for future engagements.
Standout Performers on the Outer Sand
Sicyon, under the guidance of Shreyas, delivered an attractive piece of work over 1200m, clocking 1:22, with the final 1000m covered in 1:08 and the concluding 600m in 40 seconds. Similarly, Eminent Gold, ridden by Arul, moved impressively over the same 1200m distance, finishing in 1:29.5, with a 1000m split of 1:11 and a final 600m sprint of 40 seconds.
Other notable efforts on the outer sand included Regal Beauty, who impressed with a 1000m gallop in 1:12, finishing the final 600m in 42 seconds. Transformative also stretched out well over 1000m, clocking 1:12 with a 41.5-second final section. In a paired gallop, Mystic Dew and Star Comet covered 1000m in 1:12, with Mystic Dew showing good acceleration to finish two lengths ahead of its companion.
Inner Sand and Further Training Notes
On the inner sand track, Masato, ridden by Rayan, completed a 600m gallop in 39 seconds, showing the horse is in fine trim. Blue Picasso also worked over the same distance, recording a time of 39.5 seconds while striding out well. Echoes Of Time, partnered by Shinde, caught the eye on the outer sand with a 600m effort in 40 seconds, indicating the horse is in good condition.
Additional work on the outer sand saw Lasya cover 1400m in 1:44.5, maintaining a steady rhythm throughout the gallop. Zenzele also completed the 1400m distance in 1:45, moving well on the bit. Other runners, including Renoir, Royal Tribute, Acantha, Sunlit Path, Black Rainstorm, Amazing Stride, and Don Carlos, all completed their respective exercises, contributing to a productive morning of training at the facility.
