Arrived and Pure Soul delivered standout performances during Sunday morning training sessions, showing strong form ahead of upcoming race meetings as they completed their respective gallops on the inner sand track.

Arrived and Pure Soul impress in Sunday morning track work

Arrived and Pure Soul were the headline performers during the morning training session on Sunday, September 13, as horses were put through their paces on the inner sand track. Both gallopers displayed impressive form, catching the eye with their movement during their respective exercise routines.

In a notable 1600m gallop, Arrived, partnered with Trevor, clocked 1:51. Ange Raphael, ridden by Santosh, joined the work at the 1200m mark and was urged to finish level with Arrived, who moved well throughout the exercise. Meanwhile, Pure Soul, also under the guidance of Trevor, completed a 1200m gallop in 1:21, covering the final 1000m in 1:06 and the concluding 600m in 38 seconds, moving nicely to signal readiness.

Supporting performances on the inner sand

Several other horses produced solid work during the morning session. In the 1400m category, Pride’s Prince, with Yash in the saddle, clocked 1:36, covering the final 600m in 40 seconds after being urged in the latter stages of the gallop.

The 1000m distance saw a competitive display from Baillee and Ashwa Gypsy. Ridden by Antony Raj and Gore respectively, the pair moved neck and neck to finish in 1:06, with a final 600m split of 39 seconds. Starbuster, guided by T.S. Jodha, also worked freely over 1000m, stopping the clock at 1:09. Additionally, Flashman and Etoile worked together over the same distance, moving level and freely to record a time of 1:10.

Shorter gallops included Midas Touch, who was urged to cover 800m in 52 seconds, finishing the final 600m in 39 seconds. Armenian and Phoenix Light also worked over 800m, with the former finishing four lengths ahead of his companion in a time of 56 seconds. Cellini completed 800m in 56 seconds, while Axlrod moved well over 600m in 38 seconds. Fantastica rounded out the morning’s light work, covering 600m in 40 seconds.
