Valdes-Scantling, 31, brings significant experience to the organization. A fifth-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft out of South Florida, he spent his first four professional seasons with the Green Bay Packers before moving to the Kansas City Chiefs for two years. Throughout his career, he has also had stints with the Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, and Pittsburgh Steelers. Most recently, he participated in training camp with the Dallas Cowboys before being released during the final roster cuts.
