The team issued an official statement on Monday clarifying the driver lineup for the Madrid event. While the organization noted that Hadjar’s recovery is progressing in a positive direction, they emphasized that the 21-year-old is not yet fit enough to return to competitive driving duties. Despite his physical absence from the track, Hadjar is expected to travel to Madrid to provide support to the team throughout the weekend.
With Lawson moving up to the main Red Bull entry, his usual seat at Racing Bulls will be occupied by Yuki Tsunoda for the third race in succession. Lawson’s recent performances in the Red Bull car have seen mixed results; he secured a seventh-place finish at Zandvoort, though he struggled to replicate that form at Monza, where he finished 14th.
