The Premier League has expanded its footprint in India by launching Premier League Park in New Delhi, a new facility designed to host match screenings, tournaments, and community engagement events for local supporters.

Premier League Opens Dedicated Fan Hub in New Delhi

The Premier League has officially expanded its presence in India with the launch of Premier League Park, a new dedicated football destination located in Chattarpur, New Delhi. This facility aims to provide fans across the National Capital Region with a permanent, year-round venue to watch matches, participate in tournaments, and engage with the league in a social setting.

The development represents a significant step in the league's efforts to deepen its connection with its growing Indian audience. By establishing a physical space for supporters to congregate, the Premier League is looking to move beyond traditional broadcast engagement and offer a tangible experience that celebrates the competition's popularity in the region.

Facility Features and Strategic Growth

At the heart of the new venue are two seven-a-side football pitches, supported by a dedicated social and events area. Beyond football, the site—developed and operated by GoalTech Innovation India Pvt. Ltd. under its Claygrounds brand—also incorporates courts for pickleball and padel. These additions are intended to blend football with broader leisure and entertainment activities, creating a multi-sport environment for visitors.

Hrishikesh Shende, Managing Director of Premier League India, highlighted the importance of the project, noting that the facility provides a home for the league’s passionate local community. According to Shende, the park is designed to be a place where fans can share their enthusiasm for the competition throughout the year. The initiative aligns with the Premier League’s long-term strategy in India, a market where it has maintained investment for nearly two decades.

Building a Permanent Presence in India

The opening of Premier League Park follows the establishment of the league's permanent office in Mumbai in April 2025. That move was aimed at strengthening relationships with local stakeholders, including broadcast partner JioStar, and enhancing direct engagement with the Indian fanbase. The New Delhi venue serves as a further extension of this commitment, providing a platform for fans to interact with the league outside of match-day broadcasts.

By combining professional-grade football facilities with social spaces, the league expects to attract both long-time followers and new supporters. The venue is positioned to contribute to the local sporting landscape in Delhi-NCR while serving as a central hub for Premier League-related events and partner activations moving forward.
