The pair, who were among seven players sent back to Pakistan by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after a heavy defeat at Lord's, are now dealing with both a cybercrime inquiry and a domestic cricket suspension.

The situation has intensified as both athletes navigate the fallout from a series that saw Pakistan struggle significantly on the field. While the team's performance in England drew widespread attention, the subsequent developments involving these two senior players have added a layer of administrative and legal complexity to their return.

The inquiry is understood to be linked to allegations of dressing-room leaks that occurred during the England series. Reports indicate that the two cricketers were questioned by the NCCIA for approximately two hours.
