Dinusha’s heroics secure a draw

A crucial 112-run partnership between Dinusha and Keshara Nuwantha, who faced 150 balls for his 46, proved to be the turning point. The pair successfully absorbed pressure and consumed vital overs, allowing the lower order to hold firm until the close of play. Sri Lanka finished on 429/9, successfully securing the draw. While the result prevented a clean sweep, India maintained their series lead established by a 165-run victory in the opening Test at Galle, where Manav Suthar claimed a maiden 10-wicket haul and Padikkal scored 167.
