Training Plans and Future Competitions
Nadeem, 28, will spend approximately two weeks training in Potchefstroom, South Africa, a location where he has previously trained in preparation for major events, including the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the upcoming 2024 Olympics. This training camp is crucial for him to refine his skills and enhance his performance ahead of the World Athletics Ultimate Championships, which will take place in Budapest from September 6 to 14.
Despite his impressive track record, Nadeem faced challenges at the recent Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where he did not qualify for the finals, finishing ninth. The event saw Sri Lanka's Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage clinch the gold with a throw of 89.75 meters, while Indian athletes Neeraj Chopra and Yash Vir Singh secured the silver and bronze medals, respectively. This marked a historic moment as it was the first time two Indian competitors shared the podium in javelin throw.

After his training in South Africa, Nadeem is expected to compete in the World Athletics Ultimate Championships, followed by the Asian Games.
