World No. 1
The tournament format will see each of the eight qualifying singles players compete against the other three members of their group during the opening six days of play. Following this round-robin stage, the top two performers from each group will progress to the semifinals. This year’s event marks a return to outdoor conditions, a change from the 2023 edition held in Cancun, and is being hosted in the Southern California desert following a venue shift from Saudi Arabia due to regional security concerns.
