In a notable piece of work, Youremanorborne, partnered with S. Kamble, worked alongside Caspian, ridden by C.S. Jodha. Youremanorborne began the exercise three lengths behind its stablemate but showed impressive acceleration to finish level, clocking 1-19 for the 1200m distance. The pair covered the final 1000m in 1-5, the 800m in 51 seconds, and the 600m in 39 seconds.
Strong displays across the morning session
Enrich also caught the eye during a solo gallop over 1400m. Ridden by Yash, the horse responded well to urgings throughout the session, recording a time of 1-35. The sectional breakdown showed consistent work, with the 1200m mark passed in 1-20, the 1000m in 1-5, the 800m in 51 seconds, and the final 600m in 39 seconds.
Elsewhere on the inner sand, other horses maintained steady form. Starseed and Appalachian worked together over 800m, finishing level in 53 seconds with a 600m split of 38 seconds. Similarly, Shamabala clocked 51 seconds for the 800m, finishing the final 600m in 38 seconds, while Golden Heart completed the same distance in 52 seconds, with a 39-second final section. Daredevil, partnered with Abhyankar, finished three lengths clear after their 800m gallop, which was timed at 54 seconds.
The morning also included gate practice sessions. In a 1000m trial, Satori finished two lengths ahead of Luna, who was a further two lengths clear of Tonto, with Kemosabi trailing behind. The group clocked 1-9 for the distance. Additionally, Ironheart and Villanelle moved freely to finish level in their 1000m gate practice, while Heaven’s Rhythm completed the same distance in 1-11.
