The training session provided a clear indication of the current form of several runners, with the four aforementioned horses standing out for their smooth movement and responsiveness. Trainers and observers monitored the gallops closely as the horses completed their scheduled work, ensuring they maintained their conditioning ahead of future engagements.
Standout Performances on the Outer Sand
On the outer sand track, the 1200m gallops drew significant attention. Once You Go Black, partnered with Ritesh G, clocked 1:27 for the distance, covering the final 1000m in 1:11 and the last 600m in 42 seconds, leaving a positive impression. Preview, also under Ritesh G, matched that 1:27 timing for the 1200m, finishing the final 600m in 41.5 seconds in what was described as a high-quality display.
In the 1400m work, Estelle, ridden by Antony, showed excellent form by clocking 1:41. The horse responded well to urgings, covering the 1200m in 1:26.5 and the 1000m in 1:12, with a final 600m split of 42 seconds. Meanwhile, Shining Path, guided by R. Pradeep, moved attractively over 1000m on the outer sand, finishing in 1:13.5 with a final 600m time of 42 seconds.
Additional Training Notes
Other horses also displayed encouraging signs during the morning. On the inner sand, Sensuous, ridden by Shinde, finished five lengths ahead of Royal Tribute after covering 1000m in 1:07.5, with a 600m split of 39 seconds. Ranquelino, with R. Pradeep in the saddle, also pleased observers with a 1000m effort of 1:07, finishing the final 600m in 37.5 seconds.
Elsewhere on the outer sand, Unforgettable Star maintained fine trim, clocking 1:44 for the 1400m distance, while Waitara and Shining Dawn also completed their respective gallops with satisfactory results. Final Call and Zeitgeist were noted for their steady work over 600m, both clocking 42.5 seconds, while Mystic Dew and Sigrid also moved well over the 1000m distance.
