On the morning of August 18, several horses showcased their training prowess at the local track, with notable performances from Fine Silver, Yaara Yaara, Maana, and African Gold. The session, which took place on both inner and outer sand tracks, highlighted the readiness of these competitors as they prepare for upcoming races.

Impressive Workouts on Inner Sand

During the 600-meter workouts on the inner sand, Moon Oracle, ridden by Antony, clocked a time of 39.5 seconds, demonstrating a strong stride. Golden Mist, under the guidance of Rajesh K, followed closely with a time of 40.5 seconds, also showing good movement. In the outer sand, Arc Of Life, ridden by rb, completed the same distance in 45 seconds, while Rojo, with Laxman S in the saddle, impressed with a time of 42 seconds.

In longer distances, Sindoor, again with Antony, finished 1,000 meters in 1:14, with a 600-meter split of 43.5 seconds, indicating fine form. Born To Rise, under Darshan, recorded a time of 1:15 for the same distance, while Transformative, ridden by Laxman S, completed the 1,000 meters in a swift 1:12.5, showcasing a strong performance.

Standout Performances in Longer Distances

Yaara Yaara, also ridden by Antony, excelled in the 1,200-meter workout, finishing in 1:25, with a 1,000-meter split of 1:10 and a 600-meter time of 41.5 seconds. Mandate, under Antony, and Winfield, also with Antony, both showed solid performances, clocking 1:29 and 1:28.5 respectively for 1,000 meters. Maana, with Laxman S, completed the distance in 1:27, while Majestic Legacy and Evermore also demonstrated good form, finishing in 1:29.5 and 1:29 respectively.

In the 1,400-meter workout, Stud Poker, ridden by Antony, eased up with a time of 1:47, while Inspire completed the distance in 1:44. Czar, under Antony, showcased a strong performance in the 1,600-meter workout, finishing in 1:57, with impressive splits throughout the distance.

Gate Practice Highlights

Gate practice on the inner sand saw African Gold, ridden by R. Pradeep, jump out smartly, completing 1,200 meters in 1:18. Big B, under Rajesh K, finished in 1:24, while Pledge and Agrador, with R. Pradeep and Laxman S respectively, clocked 1:21. Invincible, ridden by Kiran Rai, finished in 1:22, showcasing a strong start. Other notable performances included Mericle Beauty and Tiger Bay, both demonstrating good jumping abilities.
