On the morning of August 19, a series of impressive workouts took place at the inner sand track, showcasing the potential of several horses in training. Among the standout performers were Enrich, Namiri, and Rosario, who all demonstrated remarkable speed and agility during their respective sessions.

Notable Performances in Short Distances

The day began with a 600-meter exercise where Dreamer, ridden by Parmar, clocked an impressive time of 42 seconds, moving effortlessly. Azaadi, under Dashrath, and Funny Bunny, with N.B. Kuldeep, matched this pace, also finishing in 42 seconds. Ageisjustanumber, ridden by Shelar, completed the distance in 41 seconds, while Axlrod, with T.S. Jodha, recorded a time of 40 seconds, showcasing a fluent movement throughout the drill.

As the workouts progressed to 800 meters, Believe, ridden by Gore, impressed with a time of 53 seconds, finishing the last 600 meters in 40 seconds. Ashwa Gypsy, also under Gore, completed the distance in 51 seconds, with a strong finish of 38 seconds for the last 600 meters. Golden Heart, another horse ridden by Gore, finished in 52 seconds, with a solid 39 seconds for the final 600 meters. Mother’s Gift, ridden by A. Gaikwad, and Field Of Gold, with Shubham, both clocked 51 seconds, with Mother’s Gift finishing three lengths ahead.

Longer Distances Highlight Top Contenders

The 1200-meter workouts saw Enrich excel with a time of 1:19, completing the last 600 meters in 38 seconds. Golden Eye, ridden by Mosin, and Lion Heart, under Shelar, finished in 1:23, with Golden Eye finishing five lengths behind Enrich. In the 1400-meter session, Rosario, ridden by Vivek, clocked 1:37, with a 600-meter split of 40 seconds. Namiri, also under Yash, matched Rosario's time, demonstrating impressive consistency. Legadema, ridden by Yash, and Matisse, with Vivek, finished in 1:37 as well, with Legadema starting three lengths behind but finishing level with Matisse.
