The Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) has officially confirmed its leadership structure for the upcoming 2026-27 term following the conclusion of its 65th Annual General Meeting. The assembly, which took place on Friday, October 30, served as the platform for electing the key officials who will oversee the club's operations and governance in the coming year.

The election process resulted in the appointment of several experienced members to critical oversight roles. These positions are vital for maintaining the regulatory standards and administrative integrity of the club’s racing activities throughout the specified period.

New Appointments and Governance Structure

For the role of Stewards, the club has elected K. Jayaram, Kenneth Pinto, and R. Manjunath Ramesh. These individuals will be tasked with the primary responsibility of ensuring that racing operations adhere to the club's established rules and standards.

In addition to the Stewards, the club has appointed K. Kamesh and Shanker Sreenivas to serve as Committee Members. Their roles will involve contributing to the broader management and strategic decision-making processes required to navigate the 2026-27 racing calendar effectively.

The Board of Appeal, which serves as the final internal authority for disputes and regulatory reviews, will be comprised of five members for the new term. The elected representatives are Y. With the election process now complete, the newly formed leadership team is set to take charge of the Bangalore Turf Club’s administrative and regulatory functions for the 2026-27 season.
