In the 1600m gallop, Avener, partnered with Ramswarup, worked alongside Ange Raphael. Avener finished well clear of its companion, clocking 1:51 for the full distance, with the 1400m, 1200m, 1000m, 800m, and 600m splits recorded at 1:37, 1:22, 1:08, 53, and 39 seconds respectively.
Strong performances across track distances
Rampage also left a positive impression during a 1200m exercise. Guided by Zeeshan, the horse completed the distance in 1:20, showing good acceleration with a 1000m split of 1:05, an 800m split of 50 seconds, and a final 600m in 38 seconds. In the same category, Remarkable covered 1200m in 1:21, requiring some urging in the final stages, while Earth pleased observers with a 1:23 effort.
Credence, also under Zeeshan, produced an attractive display over 800m, clocking 49 seconds with a final 600m sprint of 36 seconds. Other notable 800m efforts included Trail Blazer and Commanchero, who moved neck and neck in 51 seconds, and the pair of Dreams Come True and Baillee, who finished their work level in 50 seconds.
Additional training updates
Several other horses participated in the morning session. In the 1000m gallops, Ashwa Gypsy moved well to clock 1:05, while Your Unforgettable recorded 1:06. Gate practice on the inner sand also took place, with Rise All Stars finishing four lengths ahead of Talking Point over 1000m in 1:08. True Promise and Rafael also completed their gate exercises, clocking 1:08 and 1:09 respectively.
The session concluded with various shorter efforts, including Whispering Angel finishing three lengths ahead of Megatron over 800m in 53 seconds. New Star ended three lengths in front of Gunsmoke in their 800m work, while Crown Invictus, Gunfire, and Shaandaar also completed their scheduled exercises.
