Khalin Joshi claims victory at the J&K Open tournament.

Khalin Joshi showcased an impressive performance at the J&K Open, securing a decisive victory by nine strokes at the Royal Springs Golf Course in Srinagar. The 33-year-old golfer finished the tournament with a remarkable total of 24-under 260, having carded rounds of 63, 66, 65, and 66. This triumph marks Joshi's eighth professional title and his second win of the 2026 DP World PGTI season.

Rashid Khan, a two-time winner on the Asian Tour, finished in second place with a total score of 15-under 269, after rounds of 68, 68, 64, and 69. Shubham Jaglan achieved his best result of the season, taking third place with a score of 14-under 270, thanks to consistent rounds of 70, 68, 66, and 66. Ajeetesh Sandhu followed closely behind, finishing fourth at 12-under 272, with scores of 65, 72, 65, and 70.

In a tightly contested leaderboard, the fifth position was shared by several notable players, including Saptak Talwar, who leads the DP World PGTI Order of Merit. Talwar finished with a score of 9-under 275, having carded rounds of 69, 71, 65, and 70. He was joined in fifth place by Asian Tour winner Rahil Gangjee, who posted scores of 73, 67, 66, and 69, and Chandigarh’s Angad Cheema, who recorded consistent rounds of 68 across the tournament.

Joshi's commanding lead throughout the tournament was characterized by his steady play and strategic approach on the course.
