The suspension, which remains in effect until July 16, 2025, carries significant consequences for the athlete's recent competitive record. According to the official statement released by the ITA, all results achieved by the boxer between December 11, 2022, and May 17, 2024, have been disqualified. This ruling directly impacts her standing from the 2022 Asian Games, which were held in 2023.

The disqualification of these results means India’s total medal count from the Hangzhou Asian Games will be adjusted from 107 to 106. Despite this reduction, the country’s overall fourth-place finish in the tournament remains unaffected. BFI response and future qualification plans
In an effort to regain the lost quota place for the Paris Games, the BFI has moved quickly to adjust its roster for the final Olympic qualifying event. The federation has selected Jaismine Lamboria, a Commonwealth Games bronze medallist in the 60kg division, to represent India in the women’s 57kg category.
The final qualifying tournament is scheduled to commence in Bangkok this Friday. The BFI confirmed that Lamboria is set to depart for the event on Tuesday as the federation looks to secure a replacement spot for the Olympic squad.
