Online jail records indicate that Allen faces two misdemeanor charges: DWI and DWI endangering a person. As of Sunday morning, he was being held at the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center.

Team Response and Career Context

The Indianapolis Colts issued a brief statement regarding the situation, confirming they are aware of the incident. The organization stated that they are currently in the process of gathering more information and have declined to provide further comment at this time.

Allen, a 14-year NFL veteran, recently joined the Colts on a one-year contract earlier this month. His tenure with the team began just weeks ago, and he participated in Saturday's preseason matchup against the Detroit Lions, where he recorded one catch for 24 yards.

The wide receiver is a six-time Pro Bowler who spent the first 11 seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Chargers. Following a contract dispute in 2024, he was traded to the Chicago Bears before eventually moving to Indianapolis. During his final season with the Chargers, Allen tallied 81 receptions.
