LAS VEGAS — In a commanding performance, the Los Angeles Clippers triumphed over the Utah Jazz with a score of 104-82 during the 2026 NBA Summer League held at the Thomas & Mack Center on Sunday.

Clippers Surge in Second Half

The game saw the Jazz initially take a 44-40 lead early in the third quarter. However, the momentum shifted dramatically as the Clippers launched a stunning 42-12 run to close out the period, effectively sealing their victory. By the fourth quarter, Los Angeles had extended their lead to as much as 28 points, showcasing their dominance in the second half with a scoring advantage of 64-44. The Clippers also excelled in rebounding, finishing with a 49-43 edge over the Jazz, and capitalized on second-chance opportunities, outscoring Utah 21-8 in that category. Additionally, Los Angeles made the most of turnovers, converting them into 23 points compared to Utah's eight.

Standout Performers

Leading the charge for the Clippers was their first-round draft pick, Keaton Wagler, who delivered an impressive 23 points along with three assists. Baba Miller contributed significantly as well, adding 15 points, five rebounds, and two assists to the team's efforts. Off the bench, Nick Martinelli made a notable impact, scoring 14 points while also grabbing six rebounds and providing two assists.

On the other side, the Jazz struggled to find their rhythm, with their first-round pick, Darryn Peterson, being the standout performer, scoring 20 points and dishing out five assists, while also recording two steals and two blocks. Jonas Aidoo contributed with nine points and ten rebounds, along with three blocks, while Blake Hinson led the bench with 12 points, three rebounds, and two assists.

Looking ahead, the Jazz will face the Chicago Bulls on Monday at 9 PM ET, broadcasted on ESPN. Meanwhile, the Clippers are set to take on their city rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, on Tuesday at 10 PM ET, available on Prime Video.
