LAS VEGAS – In a commanding display, the Portland Trail Blazers triumphed over the Minnesota Timberwolves with a score of 111-84 during the 2026 NBA Summer League held at the Thomas & Mack Center on Monday.

The Trail Blazers showcased their dominance throughout the game, securing victories in each of the four quarters by margins of at least five points. By the conclusion of the third quarter, Portland had established a significant 22-point lead, maintaining a double-digit advantage for the remainder of the contest. The team demonstrated impressive shooting accuracy, hitting 52 percent of their field goal attempts and 31 percent from beyond the arc. In contrast, the Timberwolves struggled offensively, managing only 40 percent shooting from the field and a mere 21 percent from three-point range.

Key Performers Shine

Portland's defense was particularly effective, limiting Minnesota to just one point off turnovers while outscoring them in fastbreak points, 17-6. The Timberwolves, now with a record of 1-2 in the Summer League, were led by Donovan Williams, who scored 21 points and contributed two rebounds and two assists. Zyon Pullin added 16 points, four rebounds, and ten assists, while Rocco Zikarsky chipped in with 18 points and six rebounds. Trey Kaufman-Renn provided a spark off the bench, finishing with ten points and six boards.

On the other side, the Trail Blazers, also at 1-2, were spearheaded by Chris Youngblood, who tallied 20 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Yang Hansen delivered an impressive performance, recording a double-double with 18 points, ten rebounds, and five assists. Quincy Olivari contributed significantly as well, with 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Jaylen Martin was a key asset off the bench, scoring 14 points along with three rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
