Portugal Aim for Perfect UEFA Nations League Record Against Norway

Portugal enter their upcoming UEFA Nations League clash against Norway at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto with the objective of extending their perfect start to the campaign. The defending champions have enjoyed a dominant international break, securing victories in all three of their opening group fixtures to sit comfortably at the top of Group D.

The team’s momentum remains strong despite the absence of captain Cristiano Ronaldo. The forward, who plays his club football for Al-Nassr, is unavailable for the match as he is reportedly set to depart for Saudi Arabia. His absence follows his earlier departure from the squad amid reports of a rift with manager Jorge Jesus. Despite this, the side has successfully navigated their recent challenges, including a 1-0 victory over Wales in Lisbon and consecutive wins against Norway and Denmark.

Norway arrive in Porto looking to recover from a difficult run of results. After opening their campaign with a victory against Denmark in Oslo, they have since struggled to maintain that form, suffering back-to-back defeats against Portugal at home and Wales away. The visitors will be eager to disrupt the hosts' perfect record as the competition approaches its next phase.
