Sources suggest that Misbah was not consulted regarding the extensive changes, leading to his decision to step down from both his committee role and his position as a batting consultant at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
While the PCB has reportedly not yet accepted the resignation, the development highlights the growing instability surrounding the team. Despite the ongoing administrative and squad-related challenges, the team is still set to attend a scheduled engagement with King Charles at Clarence House this week. Pakistan now faces the difficult challenge of preparing for the third Test at Edgbaston, where they will attempt to avoid a 3-0 series defeat.
