NEW DELHI: In a surprising display of athleticism, Rishabh Pant captivated fans during India's warm-up match against the Sri Lanka Cricket XI in Colombo, showcasing his unexpected football skills while batting in the second innings. Instead of relying on his bat to handle wide deliveries, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter opted to kick the ball away, a moment that quickly went viral on social media as clips of his antics circulated widely.

In his initial innings, Pant struggled to make an impact, falling victim to the Sri Lankan bowlers early on. However, his approach changed dramatically when he returned to the crease for the second time. The left-handed batsman exhibited an unusual level of caution, remaining scoreless for the first 21 balls he faced.
