Pakistan set to welcome England and Sri Lanka for a six-match ODI Tri-Series.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that Pakistan will host a six-match One Day International (ODI) tri-series featuring England and Sri Lanka from October 18 to October 31. The matches will take place in two cities: Rawalpindi and Lahore, culminating in a final at the Gaddafi Stadium on October 31, where the top two teams will compete for the title.

Match Schedule and Venues

The tournament will kick off with Pakistan facing Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi on October 18. Just two days later, on October 20, Pakistan will take on England at the same venue. Following these initial matches, Sri Lanka and England will clash on October 22. The series will then transition to Lahore, where Pakistan will play against England on October 25 and Sri Lanka on October 27. The final league match will see Sri Lanka and England go head-to-head on October 29, determining which teams will advance to the final.

Upcoming International Fixtures

This tri-series marks Pakistan's second ODI tournament in two years, following a previous series that included New Zealand and South Africa in preparation for the 2025 Champions Trophy. The upcoming matches are part of a packed international schedule for all three participating nations. Prior to the ODI series, Sri Lanka will engage in a three-match T20I series in Pakistan, with matches set for October 9, 11, and 13 in Rawalpindi.

After the conclusion of the ODI tri-series, Sri Lanka will participate in a three-day match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6. This will be followed by a two-Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. The first Test is slated for Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, while the second Test will take place in Lahore from November 17 to 21. This series will be Pakistan's second home Test series in the current WTC cycle, following a two-Test tour by South Africa last October.
