The PCB's investigation determined that Hamza failed to provide complete and truthful information when applying for his visa. The board stated that he submitted misleading details and neglected to disclose critical facts that were necessary for the application process. A three-member committee was established to thoroughly examine the situation, allowing Hamza the opportunity to present his case before the committee reviewed the evidence and compiled its findings.
In light of the committee's conclusions, the PCB has taken a firm stance by imposing a two-year ban on Hamza from participating in both domestic and international cricket. The board emphasized that such actions are detrimental to the integrity and values expected from individuals representing Pakistan cricket.
