Among the competitors, Wings Of Fury, a four-year-old gelding, is anticipated to bounce back after finishing second in his previous race. The event promises excitement, with the rail positions to be confirmed an hour prior to the first race.

Race Schedule and Key Competitors

The day's racing begins with the Free Press Journal Trophy, a 1,400-meter contest for horses aged four and older, rated between 1 to 26. Scheduled for 1:30 p.m., the race features notable entries such as Ashwa Ankara, ridden by Peter, and Phantasmique, with Ramswarup in the saddle. Other contenders include Precioso, Whisper, and Royal Champ, among others.

Following this, the Race Mirror Trophy will take place at 2:00 p.m. This 2,000-meter race is classified as Class III and includes horses rated from 40 to 66. Key participants include Kimiko, Oliver, and Manwar, with the latter expected to perform well based on recent form.

Highlighting The Hindu Trophy

The Hindu Trophy, a 1,400-meter race classified as Class III, is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and features a competitive field. Matisse and Tyrannus, both carrying 60 kg, will be strong challengers alongside Axlrod and Emperor Roderic. Wings Of Fury, who will be ridden by Sandesh and carrying 53.5 kg, is also a strong contender, aiming for victory after a commendable second-place finish in his last outing.
