Time And Tide and Alexios were the standout performers during the morning training session held on Thursday, September 3. Both horses displayed impressive form while being exercised on the inner sand track, catching the eye of observers with their sharp movements and readiness.

The training session provided a comprehensive look at the condition of several runners, with Time And Tide producing a particularly notable effort over 1000 metres. Clocking a time of 1-4, the horse demonstrated excellent pace by covering the final 800 metres in 48 seconds and the concluding 600 metres in 36 seconds. Similarly, Alexios caught the eye during an 800-metre gallop, finishing the distance in 50 seconds with a final 600-metre split of 36 seconds.

Strong performances across the inner sand track

Several other horses also showed positive signs during their respective gallops on the inner sand. Over the 800-metre distance, Endurance worked well to clock 52 seconds, with a 600-metre split of 38 seconds. In a separate piece of work, Exuma and Luna were urged to finish level, both recording a time of 52 seconds for the 800-metre stretch and 38 seconds for the final 600 metres. Vermeer also performed well, finishing two lengths ahead of Minimus with a time of 52 seconds for the 800 metres and 39 seconds for the final 600 metres.

Other notable efforts included Floyd, who finished well clear of Adonis after an 800-metre gallop timed at 51 seconds. Sir Churchill also looked sharp, finishing three lengths ahead of Camden with a time of 53 seconds for the 800-metre distance. Vrihati showed significant form by finishing six lengths ahead of Winter Sun, completing the 800-metre gallop in 53 seconds.

Extended work and steady gallops

In the longer distance work, Legadema and Acropolis completed a 1600-metre gallop in 1-53, with Legadema finishing two lengths better than its companion. The pair maintained a steady pace throughout, recording 1-38 for the 1400-metre mark and 1-23 for the 1200-metre distance. Meanwhile, Loyal Lover was urged in the final stages of a 1200-metre gallop, finishing in 1-23, while Yinsiruk completed a 1000-metre gallop in 1-12.

Several other runners, including Ashwa Tazbeez, Age Of Reason, The Olive Crown, Giant Gold, David, Bohemian Rhapsody, Majesticus, Savage Peacock, Bubbly Boy, Santana Row, Mandarin Milli, Come September, and Leo The Lion, also participated in the morning session, moving freely or completing easy work as part of their ongoing preparations.
