On the morning of July 14, a series of impressive performances were recorded during the horse exercises at the local training facility, showcasing the talents of several notable contenders. Among the standout horses were Kavya, Sovereign King, Stormy Sea, and Beast Mode, each demonstrating remarkable speed and agility on the inner sand track.

Notable Performances in 600m Trials

The 600-meter trials revealed a number of strong contenders. Ministry Of Time, ridden by S.G. Prasad, clocked an impressive 39 seconds, moving freely throughout the exercise. Pinnacle, under Gore, and Paloma, ridden by Yash, both completed their runs in 42 seconds, while Santana Row and Ardakan also finished in 42 seconds, appearing to exert minimal effort. Sophisticated, with S. Amit in the saddle, managed a time of 40 seconds, showcasing a smooth performance.

Stormy Sea, ridden by Parmar, excelled in the 800-meter trial, finishing in 51 seconds with a remarkable split of 37 seconds for the last 600 meters. Hiranyamayee, under Merchant, took a more leisurely approach, finishing in 57 seconds. Whisper, ridden by S.J. Sunil, finished six lengths ahead of Golden Heart, both completing their runs in 54 seconds. Kavya, also ridden by Parmar, demonstrated exceptional speed, starting four lengths behind Turn And Burn but finishing well ahead with a time of 47 seconds.

Impressive Showings in Longer Distances

In the 1000-meter trials, Beast Mode, ridden by Parmar, showcased his prowess by finishing ahead of Miss American Pie with a time of 51 seconds for the 800 meters and 39 seconds for the final 600 meters. Thundering Phoenix, under C.S. Jodha, also performed well, completing the distance in 53 seconds for the 800 meters and 39 seconds for the last 600 meters. Avante, ridden by Sandesh, finished four lengths ahead of Gonzalo, clocking 54 seconds for the 800 meters and 40 seconds for the final stretch.

Overall, the morning's exercises highlighted the potential of these horses as they prepare for upcoming races, with trainers and jockeys optimistic about their performances in the competitive season ahead.
