The training session, held on October 28, featured a wide array of runners testing their fitness across various distances. While many horses were kept to steady work, the efforts of Bright Button and Snow Girl provided the most notable highlights of the morning.
Strong gallops on the inner sand
In a sharp 1000m gallop, Bright Button, partnered with Hamir, moved well within himself. While his work companion Acrobatic required a push to keep pace, Bright Button remained well in hand, finishing the piece of work level with his stablemate in a time of 1:06, with final splits of 53 seconds for the 800m and 40 seconds for the 600m.
Snow Girl, ridden by Neeraj, also impressed during her 1200m exercise alongside Royal Champ. Covering the distance in 1:22, she maintained a strong rhythm throughout the gallop. Her work was particularly notable as she finished a distance ahead of Royal Champ, having clocked 1:08 for the 1000m, 54 seconds for the 800m, and 41 seconds for the final 600m.
Supporting performances across the track
Several other runners displayed encouraging signs during their morning routines. In the 800m gallops, Nashville and Rules worked in tandem, finishing neck and neck in 52 seconds, with a final 600m split of 38 seconds. Similarly, Merlet, Mojito, and Chagall each recorded 38-second final 600m splits, showing good movement during their respective hit-outs.
Other notable efforts included Golden Heart, who worked well to clock 52 seconds for 800m with a 39-second final 600m. Exotic Star and Victorious Omen were urged to finish level over 1000m in 1:08, while Angelisa and Rossetti moved freely together over the same distance in 1:10. The session also saw a variety of steady work from horses such as Synergy, who moved freely over 600m in 38 seconds, and Theodosius, who clocked 39 seconds for the same distance.
