The standout defender confirmed he will wear a cast during the contest, a measure he expects will have minimal impact on his ability to contribute on the field.

Addressing the media regarding the adjustment, Carter remained focused on his primary responsibilities. He noted that the cast is simply a piece of equipment and will not change his approach to the game. The defensive tackle emphasized that he intends to continue striking, grabbing, playing the run, and executing his pass-rush assignments as usual, stating that he cannot allow the injury to affect his play.

The recovery process saw Carter miss Wednesday's practice session before returning as a limited participant on Thursday, during which time he practiced while wearing the protective cast. The 25-year-old, who has earned Pro Bowl honors in each of the past two seasons and recently signed a four-year, $153 million contract extension in July, remains a vital component of Philadelphia's defensive interior alongside teammates Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo.
