Bengals Tight End Erick All Jr. Placed on Injured Reserve Following ACL Injury

The Cincinnati Bengals have officially placed rookie tight end Erick All Jr. on injured reserve following a significant knee injury sustained during their Week 7 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. The move, confirmed on Tuesday, comes as the team prepares for the remainder of the season without one of their key contributors in the tight end room.

According to reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the injury is believed to be a torn ACL. The incident occurred with less than six minutes remaining in the third quarter of Cincinnati's 35-13 win over Baltimore. All was immediately ruled out for the remainder of the contest after leaving the field, and the latest medical assessment suggests a long-term recovery process is ahead for the first-year player.

A Challenging Road to Recovery for the Rookie

This development marks a difficult chapter for All, as it represents the third time he has suffered a torn ACL in his right knee. The tight end previously dealt with the same injury during his collegiate career at Iowa in 2023, and he faced further complications during his transition to the professional level. After missing the 2025 season to focus on his rehabilitation, All had expressed confidence in his health, entering the current campaign feeling fully recovered and ready to contribute.

Prior to the injury, All had established himself as a versatile asset for the Bengals' offense. Through his first six appearances of the season, he served as the team's primary dual-purpose tight end, balancing responsibilities between pass-catching duties and run blocking. He recorded eight receptions for 56 yards before being sidelined on Sunday.

Roster Adjustments in Response to Injury

In the wake of All’s placement on injured reserve, the Bengals have moved to bolster their depth at the position by signing Cam Grandy to the active roster. Grandy joins the team from the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad, marking a return to Cincinnati for the tight end. He had previously spent two seasons with the Bengals organization before being released during the final roster cuts following the conclusion of the preseason.
