Premier League Expands Footprint in India with New Delhi Facility

The Premier League has officially expanded its presence in India with the launch of 'Premier League Park', a new, purpose-built destination located in Chattarpur, New Delhi. This facility marks a significant milestone for the league, serving as its first-of-its-kind hub in the country designed to bring the football community closer to the competition through a variety of interactive experiences.

The venue is intended to act as a central point for fans and players across the National Capital Region, offering a year-round calendar of events. By hosting football tournaments and public screenings, the park aims to provide consistent opportunities for supporters to engage with the league and celebrate their passion for the sport in a dedicated environment.

A Multi-Sport Hub for Football Enthusiasts

At the heart of the Premier League Park experience are two seven-a-side football pitches, complemented by a dedicated social and events area. While football remains the primary focus, the facility—developed and operated by GoalTech Innovation India Pvt. Ltd. under the Claygrounds brand—also incorporates courts for pickleball and padel. These additional amenities are designed to offer a broader mix of leisure and entertainment options, creating a versatile space for the local community.

Hrishikesh Shende, Managing Director of Premier League India, highlighted the importance of the project, noting that the country's fan base is among the most passionate globally. According to Shende, the park provides a physical space for these fans to share their enthusiasm and experience the league in a more direct and personal way.

Strengthening Long-Term Ties in India

The inauguration of the park represents the latest step in the Premier League’s long-term commitment to developing football in India, a journey that spans nearly two decades of investment. This development follows the establishment of a permanent league office in Mumbai in April 2025, which was created to bolster engagement with local stakeholders, broadcast partner JioStar, and the wider football community.

By combining professional-grade football facilities with partner-led experiences, the Premier League aims to solidify its footprint in the region. The new venue serves as a tangible extension of the league's efforts to foster a deeper connection with its Indian audience, ensuring that fans have a consistent location to engage with the sport throughout the year.
