Indian men's football team head coach Khalid Jamil has announced a 26-member squad for the upcoming FIFA international window. The selection marks a significant period for the national side, as the team prepares to face a trio of formidable opponents in Panama, Brazil, and Uruguay.

The series of high-profile friendlies is designed to test the squad against top-tier international competition. All three upcoming opponents participated in the FIFA World Cup earlier this year, offering Jamil a valuable opportunity to evaluate his players' capabilities against higher-ranked teams ahead of future competitive assignments.

Schedule and Preparation Details

The national team's preparations are scheduled to begin with a training camp in Bengaluru starting September 14. India will kick off their series of matches at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, where they are set to host Panama on September 26. Following this opening fixture, the squad will relocate to Kolkata on September 28 to continue their preparations for the remaining two matches.

The challenge intensifies in Kolkata, as India faces five-time world champions Brazil on October 3. The series concludes on October 6 with a match against two-time world champions Uruguay. Both of these final encounters will be held at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan.

The 26-man roster features a mix of experienced and emerging talent across all positions.
