The pursuit of 102 got off to a shaky start for Uganda. The innings faced an immediate turning point when Anas Baig fell for just two runs with only 0.2 overs bowled. With two early wickets down, the pressure was firmly on the Ugandan middle order to stabilise the chase.
Obuya was deservedly named Player of the Match for his decisive half-century. Alongside the efforts of Joseph Baguma and Juma Miyagi, who also contributed significantly to the team's success, Uganda demonstrated clinical execution in both phases of the game to seal the win.
