Asitha Fernando walks up next.
OUT! CAUGHT! A wonderful change of pace by Naseem Shah, and Sri Lanka keep losing steam at the death, slipping from 279/3 to now 307/8. This is dug into the deck, shorter and slower, angling it across off. Sahan Arachchige has a bit too much time on his hands and eventually tries to just ramp it over short third. But, there's no pace on the ball and it gets lobbed down to short third where Faheem Ashraf takes a simple catch.
Maheesh Theekshana takes a nasty blow to his helmet. The physio comes in for a mandatory concussion check. Everything looks good to continue. Also, Pakistan are penalized for a slower over rate, and will be allowed a maximum of only 4 fielders outside the inner ring.
Ouch! That's a nasty blow on the helmet. Haris Rauf bowls another sharp bumper, right at the batter and this one rears up off the deck. Maheesh Theekshana is unable to completely duck under it and gets hit flush on the helmet. The ball lobs down to fine leg and the batters get a couple of leg byes. Hopefully, Theekshana is fine here.
Well bowled! An aggressive bumper, right at the batter, and Maheesh Theekshana has to duck under it.
Maheesh Theekshana is the next batter.
OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Good review! Rauf bangs it in shorter and over off, at an awkward height. Dunith Wellalage tries to rise up on his toes and cuts but feathers it through to Saad Baig. Edged and gone, or is it? The bowler and the keeper start celebrating, but the umpire doesn't raise his finger. Haris Rauf is absolutely certain and Shaheen Afridi reviews it. The third umpire has a look at it and finds on UltraEdge that Wellalage ran the ball off the face of the blade, and the on-field decision is overturned. Pakistan keep getting timely wickets at the death.
Back of a length and around off, tighter line. Arachchige backs away and mictimes the cut through the short third region for a single.
FOUR! Swung away to the fence. Hard length on off, angling in. Arachchige moves inside the line, uses the angle well and heaves it wide of mid-wicket for a boundary.
