Time for a trip up North - Well, the three-match T20I series is done and dusted in terms of who wins the series, but there's still plenty to play for. England will be eyeing a clean sweep and extending their unbeaten T20I run against Sri Lanka to 15 matches, whereas the Lankans will be desperate to break that streak and head into the ODIs with some confidence behind them. The third and final T20I is set to be played at Old Trafford in Manchester, scheduled to begin at 1.30 pm GMT on Saturday, 19 September. Now, the victorious skipper of England - Harry Brook says that it was a special performance from the team, and they got off to a flier with the bat, which was excellent. He says that Liam was brilliant with the ball, and he says that spin played a part, so they went with two spinners in the team. He reckons that Liam Dawson is a brilliant bowler and he gets things done. When asked about Jos, he says that Buttler is a phenomenal player and it's just a delight to watch him play. He ends by saying that they are really happy with the series win.

A chat with Sri Lanka's captain - Charith Asalanka says that they are disappointed with the performance, especially after losing their way with the bat despite a solid Powerplay. Feels that losing wickets in a heap was bad and goes on to say that England were a class side. Ends by saying that they need to take a few difficult calls and improve.

Player of the Match - For his figures of 3/32 in 4 overs, Liam Dawson has been given the award. Dawson says that he tries to keep it simple and bowls on proper lines and lengths. When asked about his role in the team, he says that he keeps bowling wicket to wicket and tries to get wickets. He ends by saying that he is happy with the win.

Getting over the line in style - England endured a tough start with the ball, but bounced back in style, thanks to a double-wicket over from Liam Dawson. Jamie Overton then broke the back of the Lankan middle order before the likes of Sonny Baker, Jofra Archer and Adil Rashid added the finishing touches. With the bat, it was a similar story to Sri Lanka's Powerplay, as the English openers got out of the blocks quickly. They both did get out soon after the Powerplay, but Jos Buttler did become the first batter to surpass 15000 T20 runs. Brook played a quickfire cameo, but it was Tom Banton's unbeaten and flying fifty that got England over the line in just 12.1 overs.

Under par throughout the game - Sri Lanka were put into bat by Harry Brook and got off to an absolute flier, racing to 55/0 inside the Powerplay. But it all came crashing down quickly as they were reduced to 95/5, and another flurry of wickets at the death saw Sri Lanka unable to even cross the 150-run mark on a pitch that looked conducive to batting. There wasn't much to write home about with the ball either, as they bowed down to the English batters. Dushmantha Chameera was the only one who didn't go for more than 10 runs an over, just though. Sri Lanka will now look to put together a more complete performance in the last game.

That's that - England seal the series without breaking a sweat, and that too with one game left. They have now beaten Sri Lanka in 14 straight T20I matches, which is a staggering stat in itself.
