Bangladesh seamers ask questions - The Bangladesh pace duo of Hasan Mahmud and Taskin Ahmed were spot on with the new ball, making life difficult for the Australian openers. Despite flirting with the edges, they had nothing to show for their efforts until the first hour, when Mahmud finally broke through by removing Jake Weatherald. He then struck again in his very next over to dismiss Travis Head, sending both openers back after their cautious starts. With the ball doing plenty, Australia were reduced to 52/2.
LUNCH, DAY 1 - Bangladesh have ended a thrilling opening session on a high, grabbing their fourth wicket right on the stroke of Lunch to cap a superb morning in Darwin. Test cricket has returned to the city after two decades, and the session has lived up to the occasion, with almost something happening every ball. Australia would have liked to be in greater control and lose fewer wickets, but Bangladesh deserve plenty of credit for making excellent use of the conditions. They have looked comfortable despite playing here for the first time, keeping things tight and ensuring Australia have had to work hard for every run.
OUT! FANTASTIC CATCH! Bangladesh have their fourth wicket and are understandably cock-a-hoop. Green stay is cut short and he throws his head back in disappointment. He looks to whip the incoming length ball away off his legs, but comes through the shot a touch too early, and loses the grip on his bottom hand and the ball pops up flat to the right of Mushfiqur Rahim, stationed at mid-wicket. The veteran stretches in that direction and completes a fine catch with both hands. High fives all round, and a genuinely united bowling effort from Bangladesh sees the opening session go their way in some style. And that's LUNCH on Day 1.

SIX! That one caught the tall all rounder off guard. A searing bouncer, right into the body with extra bounce. Cameron Green is hurried into the pull, taking his eyes off it mid shot and getting a bit of a top edge for his trouble. Somehow, though, he still finds enough in the shot to send it sailing clean over the fielder at deep backward square leg.
